Chair – Peter Homan

Chief Executive Officer – Southern Queensland Country Tourism

With over twenty years of experience across Tourism, Hospitality and Not-For-Profit industries, I have demonstrated the ability to deliver world-class services by leading the development, translation and execution of a wide range of strategies including business development, community engagement, marketing, communications, business transformation and operations. I have showcased the determination to resolve complex issues by leading research and analysis activities to identify inefficiencies, trends and root causes (e.g. economic, technological) while formulating innovative, sustainable solutions. Throughout my career, I have positively contributed to a number of organisation’s growth, development and success including; improving the organisation’s capability, team performance, culture, brand awareness, stakeholder relationships, and ultimately revenue.

Deputy Chair – Prof Ren Yi

Pro-Vice Chancellor (International), University of Southern Queensland

Professor Ren Yi is the Pro Vice-Chancellor International at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ). With over 20 years experience working in higher education, he is an expert in international education and has extensive industry management experience. Professor Yi is an International Executive Committee Member for Universities Australia since February 2019 and Board Member for International Education Association of Australia since October 2020. As an award-winning researcher, Professor Yi is a past President of the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) and is currently a reviewer for the Academy of International Business and Australian Research Council.


Treasurer – Kym Schultz

Business Manager Concordia Lutheran College

Kym is a seasoned Business Manager with over twenty-five years’ experience in the education sector having been a Business Manager in both the Lutheran and Catholic school systems. Kym has a track record of success and has demonstrated her ability to effectively lead and manage the financial and operational activities of educational institutions, ensuring smooth operations and the delivery of high-quality financial administration. Holding a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Management of the Not-for-Profit Organisations Kym brings a wide range of knowledge, business skills, and strategic thinking to her chosen profession. With a passion for optimising processes and driving positive change, Kym continues to make a significant impact in the field of education.

Committee Member – Tammy Wilson

Director Of Advancement at Toowoomba Grammar School

Proven success delivering complex multi-channel communication strategies for senior leaders (including two Prime Ministers) across large organisations. Strong reputation for developing strategic partnerships with leadership teams across government and industry to provide strategic communications advice on organisational strategy. Expertise in implementing innovative data-driven digital marketing strategies to increase market share and sales.

Monique TUDMAN

Committee Member – Monique Tudman

Director of International Operations – TAFE Queensland

Monique is the Director of International Operations at TAFE Queensland and is responsible for strategically leading operations within TAFE Queensland’s International Education division to strengthen global reputation, build operational capacity and solidify TAFE Queensland’s premier position in international vocational education and training.

Monique commenced as Director of International Operations in late 2023 and prior to joining TAFE Queensland, held Director roles with the Department of Education Queensland in the areas of Regional and Education services, delivering strategic and operational services and support to approximately 200 state schools and four regional offices across the Darling Downs and Southwest Region.

Monique has a total of 20 years of public sector experience including 15 years across a variety of national roles with the Fair Work Ombudsman, in the areas of Compliance and Enforcement, International Labour Strategy, Information Access and Privacy and most recently as Assistant Director of Accountability and Risk where she managed initiatives designed to enhance governance, integrity and corporate compliance for Australia’s workplace relations regulator.  

Monique holds a Bachelor of Laws degree, a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration.
