TAS is proudly a smaller school by design and this enables the school to foster the success and character of the whole child.
We celebrate students with varied interests and skills. There is a sense of family and community that can be achieved in a smaller environment and in its most simple form, every child is known.
From Kindergarten right through to Year 12, our students possess character, kindness and independence. They embrace challenges, value every opportunity and thrive together in a vibrant, friendly school community. We place great value on our individual students, because together we all make up Toowoomba Anglican School.
In one of the most picturesque locations in Toowoomba, TAS sits on the edge of the Great Dividing Range overlooking captivating views of the Lockyer Valley. With the campus centring around Main School Close, a place where students, staff and families gather, the school has a village-like feel. The design of the school grounds further reinforces our commitment to community – we encourage everyone to come together, to live, to learn and grow stronger together.
There’s something special about being part of school with a long history. You’ll walk a little taller in your school uniform and pull your school cap on with pride. First established over a century ago in 1911 with just 17 students, TAS has decades of wonderful traditions that live on today.
We are fortunate to be on the very same grounds since we were founded, so when you walk the school grounds you will be surrounded by our history.
If exploring this website has been beneficial, then a personal visit to Toowoomba Anglican School is essential to gain a real sense of our community, and to understand why our students love coming to this school.
