2025-2026 Student Ambassador Robiatul from Philippines

My name is Robiatul, and I am originally from Indonesia. I am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Southern Queensland, where my research focuses on sustainable materials, circular economy, and innovative solutions for environmental challenges.
I chose to study in Toowoomba because of its welcoming community, strong research environment, and the opportunity to learn in a city that offers both academic excellence and a great quality of life. Moving to Australia was a significant step in my journey, and Toowoomba quickly became a place where I could grow both personally and professionally.
Beyond my PhD, I am passionate about social entrepreneurship, sustainability education, and creating practical solutions that can make a positive impact on communities. I enjoy working on projects that connect research with real-world applications, particularly in waste management, climate resilience, and community development.
As a Study Toowoomba Ambassador, I am excited to share my experiences as an international student, connect with students from different backgrounds, and help showcase the opportunities available in Toowoomba. I hope to inspire other students to pursue their goals and make the most of their educational journey.
To me, “Study, Work, Live in Toowoomba” means being part of a supportive community where learning extends beyond the classroom. It represents opportunities to build meaningful connections, develop valuable skills, and create a future
