2025-2026 Student Ambassador Prince from Ghana

Toowoomba, a Hidden Wonder

Hi there, my name is Prince, and I am from Accra, Ghana, a beautiful country in West Africa with diverse cultures, great music, and amazing people. I am currently studying for a PhD in Information Systems at the University of Southern Queensland, where my research areas include AI Governance, Digital Transformation, and Digital for Development (D4D).

As a Study Toowoomba Ambassador, I am greatly privileged to connect with the international community in Queensland, where I get to learn from great people from diverse backgrounds, enhance my stakeholder engagement skills, and promote educational content.

One of my motivations for becoming an ambassador is the opportunity to collaborate with great teams to support international students to succeed in this wonderful environment.

Settling into a new country as a student is not always easy, and therefore having a team that will walk with you throughout the journey and guide you in accessing opportunities is a dream; this is what makes Study Toowoomba a valuable organization.

Toowoomba is elegant, its landscape is a sight to behold, and its people are warm and welcoming. Living here gives you the peace of mind to learn and participate in a thriving

community, co-creating value and sharing great memories. There is one wonder in Toowoomba, and it is called the Japanese Garden. Here is where you would want to reflect, meditate, enjoy nature, and find inspiration. I won’t spoil the fun for you; just visit and see for yourself.
