My name is Gazzal, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as one of the newest Study Toowoomba Ambassadors. I’m originally from India, and I’m currently studying Nursing at UniSQ.
When I first began searching for a place to study, I wanted somewhere peaceful, safe, and genuinely community‑minded. That search led me straight to Toowoomba, and I’m so grateful it did.
What I love most about Toowoomba is how quickly it starts to feel like home. The city has this beautiful blend of nature, culture, and warmth. Whether it’s walking through Queens Park, catching the sunrise at Picnic Point, or joining the excitement of the Carnival of Flowers, Toowoomba has a way of making every day feel grounded and meaningful. Even simple moments like chatting with locals at the Farmers Markets or studying in a quiet café remind me why I chose this city.
As a Study Toowoomba Ambassador, I’m most excited about connecting with other international students and helping them settle in with confidence. I want to share the little things that make this city special. The friendly faces, the supportive learning environment, and the opportunities that help you build both your career and your sense of belonging.
To me, studying, working, and living in Toowoomba means belonging to a community that celebrates diversity, encourages growth, and genuinely cares. It’s a place where you can dream big while still feeling grounded.
