Hello, my name is Alex Caro Orrego, I’m from Concepción, Chile.
I´m currently studying Diploma in Information Technology Advanced Networking and System Administration at TAFE.
I first came to Australia to travel, little I knew that I was going to end up choosing to stay and study here, 18 months later I´m more than happy for the decision taken, especially regarding choosing Toowoomba as the place I can call home now.
I love the nature that not only surround the city but is also found within the city almost in every place you look, being here reminds me my birth town in Chile, which is also known for its landscapes, national parks and green areas in the city.
I really enjoy the fact that you can get away from the noise of the city in a matter of minutes and enjoy magnificent views and parks, and as an amateur photographer that mix of urban and nature makes this city perfect for going out on a bike ride looking for the perfect shot.
When not studying I like going for a bike ride, my photography and also enjoying the cultural activities and life that is found everywhere in Toowoomba, especially art exhibitions and live music.
