Meet Bryan – An International Student from Papua New Guinea

Bryan Bubun Goodyear, 16, moved from Papua New Guinea to study at Concordia Lutheran College in Toowoomba. His mum encouraged him to experience boarding school life, and now he’s embracing all that Toowoomba has to offer!

What Bryan Loves About Toowoomba

Bryan enjoys the shops, the city life, and playing rugby at school. He believes Toowoomba is a great place for international students because the school provides strong support and it’s not too far from home.

Adjusting to a New Life

Moving away from family was a challenge, but Bryan reminds himself that no matter what happens, he will always go back home to PNG. He’s also found that studying in Toowoomba has helped improve his learning compared to his home country.
