Study Toowoomba is thrilled to announce that the application period for our Student Ambassador Programme has now closed, and we couldn’t be more delighted with the response. With over 30 applications received, the selection panel has a challenging task ahead as they begin the process of choosing the final candidates.
In the lead-up to the application deadline, we had the pleasure of visiting TAFE and UniSQ for morning tea sessions. These events provided a wonderful opportunity for prospective ambassadors to meet some of the Study Toowoomba team, ask questions, and get even more excited about the prospect of joining this prestigious programme.
The Study Toowoomba Student Ambassador Programme seeks to select up to six international students who will represent our vibrant city from August 2024 until June 2025. These voluntary roles offer a unique opportunity for students to build connections, develop professional skills, and experience Toowoomba from a new perspective. While the ambassador roles are unpaid, Study Toowoomba will cover all related costs, ensuring that our ambassadors can fully participate without financial burden.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who applied and expressed interest in being part of this incredible journey. Your enthusiasm and passion for studying and living in Toowoomba have made this selection process both inspiring and difficult.
As the selection panel begins their work, we encourage all applicants to stay tuned for further announcements. We are excited to welcome our next group of ambassadors who will undoubtedly make a lasting impact on our community.
For those who didn’t apply this year, why not consider it for the next round? Being a Study Toowoomba Student Ambassador is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that offers personal growth, professional development, and the chance to share your story with the world. If you have a passion for Toowoomba, an active social media presence, and the willingness to step outside your comfort zone, you might just be our next ambassador!
Thank you again to all our applicants, and we look forward to announcing our new Student Ambassadors soon!
