Mishima High School Program
Toowoomba hosted students from Mishima High School who are from our Sister City, Takatsuki in Japan.
This is the nineth visit by the school (break from 2020 to 2023) and they have 20 students and one teacher visiting this year from the 21 July to 31 July 2024 (11 days). Students are aged between 15 – 18 years. The group are being hosted by Centenary Heights State High School for their program.

Council Delegation visited Mishima High School in November 2018.
Vegemite and Tim Tams were on offer and Tim Tams were the hit of the day.
Cr Melissa Taylor was joined by Study Toowoomba Treasurer Kym Schultz from Concordia Lutheran College in a very special welcome reception at our City Hall with the Mayor Geoff McDonald. These events are crucial for accelerating our regional development and nurturing global collaborations.
