My Leadership Journey at UniSQ
My leadership journey began at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), where I immersed myself in roles that allowed me to serve and uplift my peers: Orientation Week Mentor & Campus Guide (Early 2025) In this role, I welcomed new students to UniSQ, helping them navigate campus life, find their footing, and build connections from day one. Toowoomba Campus Student Representative As a voice in the UniSQ Student Senate, I’ve worked diligently to ensure student perspectives are included in key decisions at the university level. ICT Undergraduate Student Representative (2024–2025 academic year) Passionate about academic support and the student experience, I advocated for improvements and resources to help fellow IT students thrive.
Engaging Beyond Campus
My involvement also extends beyond direct academic roles: National Leadership Forum 2024, Canberra Sponsored by UniSQ, I attended this national forum focused on leadership, ethics, and service. It offered invaluable insights and connections in a broader context. Events Coordinator, UniSQ IT Club I coordinate events and activities that enrich student life, promoting engagement through technology-themed initiatives and community-building. Highly Commended Community Service Award (December 2024) UniSQ recognised my voluntary efforts with this honour—an acknowledgment of how fulfilling it is to give back. Leadership = Impact (Not Titles)
This award is not just mine—it belongs to every mentor, friend, and teammate who stood beside me. I believe leadership is about the impact you make, not the titles you hold. Whether through mentoring, committee work, or organising events, my goal has always been to uplift others first.
